The Six Million Dollar Man
1 9 7 3 - 1 9 7 8 (USA)

"Steve Austin, Astronaut - A man barely alive . . . Gentlemen, we can rebuild him . . . we have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better than he was before, Stronger, Faster . . ."

Lee Majors played Colonel Steve Austin, a NASA test pilot who survived a near fatal crash and was reconstructed and refurbished by Dr Rudy Wells at a cost of $6,000,000. Steve was fitted with atomic-powered (!?!) legs , arms and left eye (complete with built-in grid screen). I'll never know why they didn't just rip his other eye out and give him two atomic eyes!

Now bionically equipped, the Six Million Dollar Man could perform incredible feats of strength and speed (usually filmed in slow motion - amazing special effects!).

Steve Baby went to work for OSI (The Office of Strategic Investigations - a forerunner to the CIA) headed by the eternally sunglasses-wearing Oscar Goldman. Steve not only battled foreigners, spies and villains, he occasionally fought with aliens and extra-terrestrials also!

In the second season, Austin discovered he was not alone in the bionic world. There was a dangerous, out of control seven million dollar man roaming around somewhere. This lead to a clash of the titans which Steve naturally won (despite being a million dollars cheaper!).

In 1975, a bionic woman arrived as love interest for Major Austin; ex tennis pro Jaime Summers (played by Lindsay Wagner). Summers was eventually killed off but proved so popular she ended up with her own show - The Bionic Woman.

Without labouring the theme, the show also produced a bionic boy, Andy Sheffield (Vincent Van Patten), a bionic dog (Max) and ... ahem ... the Bionic Bigfoot (!?!). Steve Austin battling it out with Sasquatch is probably one of the most stupid TV moments ever.

I always thought it extremely fortunate that Steve Austin damaged both his legs and only one arm in his crash. Had it been the other way (two arms and one leg) we would have had a bionic man who ran around in circles really really fast!)!

NOW HERE IS OUR MOTOCROSS VERSION!

The Six Million Dollar Motocross Man
2004-2005

"Joe Racer, Motocrosser - A man barely winning . . . Gentlemen, we can build him into a champion . . . we have the knowledge and technology. We have the capability to make a world's Superstar. Joe Racer will be that man. Better than he was before, Stronger, Faster . . ."

Now physically and mentally prepared like no other, Joe Racer our Six Million Dollar Motocross Man could perform incredible feats, show tremendous speed and endurance.

Joe started training with eFitnessAcademy.com several months ago, he now not only has the speed to win, he has the mental edge, he is FOCUSed, he proves it week in and week out, anyplace, any condition, against anyone! Joe not only battled local racers, he tackled all competition across the country!

Going into his second season as a team member, Joe discovered he was not alone. There was a dangerous, out of control seven million dollar man roaming around somewhere. This lead to a clash of the Superstars, which Joe naturally won (despite being a million dollars cheaper!)

I always thought it extremely fortunate that Joe Racer had the support of his family and friends to help him get to the next level. Had it been without this support we would have had a much more difficult time!

New addition to the EFA team.
